Мы, группа швейцарцев, которые считают, что свобода слова важнее воли диктаторов, основали ассоциацию "Друзья Новой газеты Европа".
Основной целью ассоциации является продвижение свободы слова и свободы прессы в России и за ее пределами, в частности, путем финансовой поддержки НПО-издания "Новая газета Европа". С помощью небольшого управляющего совета, работающего на волонтерских началах, и максимально возможном количестве членов мы сможем достичь оптимального соотношения расходов и доходов.
Низовая демократическая организационная форма швейцарской ассоциации гарантирует членам полную прозрачность финансов, широкое участие и право голоса, например, на ежегодном общем собрании с голосованием по годовым счетам, годовому отчету, размеру членских взносов и многому другому.

About us
We are a group of Swiss nationals who believe that freedom of expression is more important than the will of dictators. With this in mind, we have founded the Friends of Novaya Gazeta Europe association.
The main purpose of the association is to promote freedom of expression and freedom of the press in Russia and beyond, in particular by financially supporting the NGO media outlet Novaya Gazeta Europe. This is done with a small board of volunteers and as many members as possible in order to achieve an optimal cost-income ratio.
The grassroots democratic organisational form of the Swiss association guarantees its members full financial transparency and broad participation. The members of the association have a say at the annual board meeting, where a vote will be held regarding the annual accounts, the annual report, the size of membership fees and other important matters.
